Brent Yatman

Director of Operations

Brent has over 19 years in the Power Generation industry with experience ranging from technical to leadership positions. Brent worked on a broad range of projects including major equipment overhauls, plant turnarounds, an O&M provider transition, and plant capability improvement.

Before working at IPSC, Brent worked as Plant Manager at Armstrong Power. This position gave him the opportunity to use his skill set and improve the facility while learning new things from his wonderful team. As with all his projects, Brent takes a sense of ownership in the facility and thinks of his team as his family. As Plant Manager, he was responsible for developing and maintaining a strong relationship with the Ownership, creating SMART goals for the facility, overseeing all compliance events, managing day-to-day O&M, and growing the plan team.

Brent strives to add value to each project he is involved in and likes to help others reach their potential. Although, Power Generation has not been Brent’s only career, they became his passion. Brent takes great reward and pride in helping plants improve, learning new skills, and teaching others.
