Tom Neal
Director of Operations
Thomas (Tom) Neal has over 30 years of experience and is the Director of Operations, responsible for implementing operational strategy and leading all operations, delivery, engineering and administration efforts for IPSC plants. He has a proven track record of turning around underperforming projects through rigorous project management, asset optimization, and fostering a continuous improvement culture, recently achieving a 3% increase in availability and reliability while reducing costs by 20%.
Prior to becoming Director of Operations, Mr. Neal was Vice President of global Operations &Engineering (O&E) for Intergen. Intergen is a global power generation firm, operating gas-fired power plants, gas compression stations and a wind farm in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Mexico, and Australia. Previously he held the positions of director of O&E in Mexico, director of operations and maintenance, plant manager of the Cottonwood Energy plant in Texas, and maintenance manager overseeing the commissioning and startup of Magnolia Energy plant in Mississippi.
Prior to spending several years working for a small independent power producer in New York, he served 9 years in the U.S. Navy as a submariner on a nuclear-powered submarine.
