Joe Moore

Director of Operations

Joe has over 20 years’ experience in operating, maintaining, and managing powerplants centered around combustion turbine and combined cycle plants. Before being promoted to Director of Operations, Joe managed a combustion turbine site for IHI Power.

He played a crucial role in repowering a large fuel oil site with GE 7FA combustion turbines and Foster Wheeler HRSGs. He has also managed a three-unit combined cycle facility for a large utility. During this time, he has performed roles as an instrumentation and controls specialist, Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Plant Manager. He has also filled a high-level role in enterprise-wide event reporting and outage planning.

Before starting in the power generation field, Joe worked in advanced semiconductor manufacturing and controls programming. He brings a solid knowledge of statistical controls used in manufacturing.

Originally from Central Florida, Joe started his career in the United State Navy where he was an Electronics Technician.
