Amy Komatsuzaki

Vice President of Remote Operations


Amy Komatsuzaki has over 25 years of experience in operations, business development, sales and consulting with the last several years in power generation. Currently she is serving as the Vice President, Remote Operations Center (ROC) to oversee profit and loss for IPSC's ROC located in Aliso Viejo, California. The ROC remotely monitors and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, simple cycle power plants and renewable energy projects. She collaborates with clients to ensure integration of operations and monitoring into the ROC, adding an additional layer of safety and optimization of the plant’s operations. During her tenure at IPSC, she has served as VP, Commercial Operations, Director of Operations, and Director of Business Development.

Originally from San Jose, California, Ms. Komatsuzaki earned an MBA from the University of Colorado Springs and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCLA. Early in her career, she served as a civil engineer in the United States Air Force where she had responsibility for significant overseas civil and environmental projects.
