Chief Operations Officer


Kurt brings more than 30 years of leadership and hands-on experience in industrial operations and training as well as development of new facilities and professional workforces. As SVP of Operations, Kurt is accountable for and oversees all of IPSC's Operation and Maintenance contracts along with EHS and NERC Compliance.

Kurt has held several positions within the power industry sector including:

Vice President of Global Operations,
Kurt was accountable for PIC Group’s global business units which was comprised of Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Commissioning & Startup, Professional Staffing, and Training and Documentation.

Director of Operations, West Region, Ethos Energy Group
Direct oversight of multiple O&M contracts with over 6 GW of generation in a wide array of technologies. He managed plant level budgets totaling over $90MM annually and ensured all O&M contracts met all safety and environmental compliance requirements.

Plant Manager, Wood Group Power Plant Services
Kurt managed a 540MW Natural Gas Fired – 2X1 Combined Cycle, in addition to managing a 60MW Natural Gas Fired – 1X1 Combined Cycle Cogen.

Plant and Production Manager, Florida Power & Light Energy Services, Inc.
Managed a 540MW Natural Gas Fired – 2X1 Combined Cycle

He served 10 years in the US Navy as an IC Electrician with over 5 years on a destroyer and 4 plus years as a basic electricity and electronics instructor.

Kurt attended National University in San Diego majoring in business administration and earned his associate degree from City University in Bellevue, WA.
