Stephen B. Gross

President and Chief Executive Officer

Stephen B. Gross has served the power generation industry for more than 30 years in executive management, project general management, business development and financial planning and analysis positions.

Mr. Gross joined IHI Power Services Corp. from Exelon/Constellation Energy where he served as Managing Director/Vice President of Constellation Power Generation's West Region for nearly 10 years. In this role, Mr. Gross was responsible for a portfolio which, during his tenure, included 17 power generating facilities that produce more than 3000 megawatts of generation in support of Constellation Energy's merchant energy business in California, Texas, Utah, Hawaii and Canada. The West Region fleet included a broad range of generation technologies with fuel sources that included solar, geothermal, hydro, natural gas, coal and biomass.

With Constellation Energy, Mr. Gross previously held the position of General Manager of the High Desert Power project in Victorville, California, where he successfully brought the project into commercial operation and it was subsequently named Power Plant of the Year by POWER magazine in 2003.

Mr. Gross joined Constellation Energy from Newport Generation in Newport Beach, California where he was Vice President, Operations and Asset Management. He also previously served as Director of Business Management for Edison Mission Energy, overseeing financial reporting and planning and analysis for 11,500 megawatts of generation assets. In the 90's he worked for Entergy Power Group were he was Director of Asset Management for the Asia Pacific group of Entergy Power, where he managed power projects in Pakistan and China.

A native Ohioan, Mr. Gross holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from the University of South Florida, an Associate of Science from Northwestern Michigan College and holds a Master of Arts in Finance from Webster University. He is an active community volunteer and a member of United Way's Alexis de Tocqueville Society.
